Omar Tazi is executive vice president and chief product and digital officer at T-Mobile, leading the company’s product organization that spans product development, devices, digital, wholesale and global partnerships.

Omar and his team deliver AI-enabled, digital-first experiences that deepen customer engagement with T-Mobile. He was instrumental in building and launching T-Life, the company’s all-in-one lifestyle super app that has become the hub for managing accounts, devices, benefits and connected services. He also played a key role in T-Mobile’s partnership with SpaceX on T-Satellite, the largest satellite-to-mobile constellation, built to keep customers connected in places no carrier towers can reach. This breakthrough capability is a massive technical achievement for the industry.

Omar joined T-Mobile’s senior leadership team in January 2023 after serving as chief product and innovation officer at Deutsche Telekom and as a member of the T-Mobile US board of directors. His more than 25 years of global experience includes roles at Oracle, Symantec and Orange, along with founding several tech ventures across Europe, the Middle East and Africa during and following his decade in Silicon Valley.

He earned an M.S. in computer science and electrical engineering and conducted AI research and teaching at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He is also an alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
