##### "My game plan is continuing to go up the leadership ladder."
I went after a senior manager position and I got some great feedback from the interview. That feedback was, I need to branch myself out. When I branched myself out I started taking on stretch assignments and learned about different areas of the business. That allowed me to really find that my true passion is within operations, so that's why I went after a position within the network operations center.
My game plan is continuing to go up the leadership ladder. I want to be a VP one day. In order to do that I need to make sure that I have the credentials, along with experience driving toward the customer focus and driving toward results.
*Linda started at a call center in Texas and now supports the desktop team as a senior manager at the corporate office.*

##### "It's changed me personally. It's changed me professionally."
Every time I say I want to do something, I always went to my leaders and said, "How can I get there?" And they showed me the way. Some of them are mentors, some put me on stretch assignments, some actually had me help with their assignments. So it's a little bit of everything. They're really hands-on with everything I do. They keep contact with me. We'd have touch points each month. You know, they really tried to help develop my career, see where I'm going, keep me on the right track.
I've changed a lot. I went from just a regular old person looking for a job to a leader. It's changed me personally. It's changed me professionally. I have a different look at life. I set myself goals personally and professionally now.
T-Mobile stands for the people. They stand for the employees. T-Mobile's the first corporation I can say actually puts their employees first. Their employees matter, frontline matters. So the value that they bring to people, is how they value their people. That's the biggest thing because a lot of corporations, a lot of businesses, don't value their employees.

I've been with T-Mobile on the retail side for almost five years. I wanted to move up to a Signature Store for the opportunity to work with some amazing people and because the experience is not like any other store. In addition to the mobile devices, tablets, and accessories, there is an interactive experience for the customer that is unique to T-Mobile.
I'm super passionate about film and photography and capturing life so the moment never fades. I made this cool video for the Signature Store and it got so much exposure it brought new opportunities that allowed me to grow even more in my career.
T-Mobile sees that I'm passionate and they see that I love what I do. They say if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. The fact that I'm able to use my photography and videography skills, do social media, get a team together to strategically think and come up with ideas, to make creative stuff happen—I think that's pretty amazing.
I work with an enthusiastic team that focuses on the bigger picture, whether it's helping people or connecting them to what’s important to them, it’s great to be surrounded by passionate people.

I really expected T-Mobile to just be a temporary spot for me. Five years later, I'm still here. I have fully drank the company Kool-Aid. I absolutely love T-Mobile and the culture and that's what's kept me here for the last five years and I have no intention of leaving. One of the things that I love about T-Mobile is you get what you put in. You can really go anywhere in this company if you're willing to put in the work. I started at ground level and I've worked my way into different promotions, different roles. I've seen a lot of other companies where you can work real hard and never go anywhere with it and T-Mobile is the exact opposite of that, you get what you put in. I also like the little bit of rebellious spirit that T-Mobile has. That really speaks to me, being a skateboarder and kind of a punk rocker kind of guy so I really enjoy that.
Are you with us? To me, that means are you with us to change the industry. Not just the industry for good but kinda change the conversation that we're having in the country. We need to really change the direction that things are going and really speak to what our values are and that is equality. Supporting the diversity and inclusion movements is what "Are you with us?" means to me.
