Bellevue, Wash. — Apr. 27, 2006

As part of T-Mobile’s exclusive sponsorship deal with the prestigious 2006 FIFA World Cup™ to be held in Germany, T-Mobile USA, Inc. is offering U.S. consumers a chance to participate in its exclusive "Insider Sweepstakes”. Through May 15, 2006, participants will have chances to win the Insider Sweepstakes when signing up at participating T-Mobile retail locations and online through T-Mobile's exclusive bilingual FIFA World Cup Web site.

"Sponsoring the 2006 FIFA World Cup places T-Mobile and its customers at the forefront of one of the most anticipated sporting events in the world," said Mike Belcher, director, Sponsorships, T-Mobile USA.

Through T-Mobile's exclusive Insider Sweepstakes, subscribers and other eligible U.S. residents can participate in a chance to win one of seven trips for two to a FIFA World Cup match in Germany. Each trip includes an exclusive Insider prize package that no other official sponsor can match. T-Mobile is the only Official Partner of the FIFA World Cup™ that will offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for customers and other entrants to have the chance to win an exclusive Insider package that includes a free trip for two, VIP treatment at the stadium, preferential seating, and unmatched access to the soccer field for an up-close and personal view of the teams in action! T-Mobile subscribers also can enter the Insider Sweepstakes by sending a short digital Spanish language text message to "GANA" (4262), or in English to "WIN" (946), and entering the word "INSIDER" in the body of the text message.

Recently, T-Mobile began issuing multiple communication vehicles to promote the Insider Sweepstakes. Through its partnership with the Univision network – the largest Spanish language network in the U.S. – T-Mobile has dedicated promotional TV spots that will air across the network’s various channels to promote the Insider Sweepstakes. In conjunction with these spots, T-Mobile is running banner ads on Univision.com – the largest Spanish language online portal in the U.S. – directing visitors to T-Mobile's promotional microsite for the ability to enter the Insider Sweepstakes.

"T-Mobile recognizes the importance of the U.S. Hispanic market, which is one reason why we have partnered with FIFA for this most celebrated global sporting phenomenon that clearly appeals to the U.S. Hispanic consumer," said Mark Stockdale, director, Hispanic Marketing, T-Mobile USA.

T-Mobile additionally is offering everyone a means to enter the "Insider" sweepstakes online by submitting an entry on T-Mobile's FIFA World Cup Web sites, https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/articles/www.t-mobile.com (in Spanish) or https://www.t-mobile.com (in English). The Web sites also currently offer consumers the ability to play soccer-themed games online, and access and purchase World Cup downloads for T-Mobile devices. Additional exciting content is expected to be featured soon. Official sweepstakes rules are available on both the Spanish and English Web sites.
