With Smartphone Equality, you'll receive preferred device financing options and additional wireless benefits including the option of a T-Mobile postpaid plan. The key difference between a Metro prepaid plan and a T-Mobile postpaid plan is when you pay for the service. On a postpaid plan, you receive a bill at the end of the month, on a prepaid plan, you pay for your phone service upfront.
