Who will love the S25 Ultra the most?

The Ultra is a powerhouse when it comes to just about everything: looks, size, camera capabilities, storage, battery, and more. Whether you're a serious multitasker, photographer, gamer, content creator, or you just want the best of the best, you'll gravitate toward the Galaxy S25 Ultra with its stunning new design and smooth edges. It’s the only phone in the series with a 6.9-inch display and exclusive anti-reflective Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass, which improves clarity and readability even in bright light, while still protecting against scratches.

ProScaler is also featured on the Ultra, delivering stunningly detailed visuals and colors, further enhancing the display. The five-camera setup includes a 200MP lens, not to mention a 50MP Ultra-Wide lens with four-times the resolution of the previous generation, making it Samsung’s highest resolution yet. The 5,000mAh battery is also the most powerful of the series.

The ever-popular S Pen is also back on the S25 Ultra, for those who enjoy the pen-to-paper feeling that only a super-advanced stylus can offer. Also unique to the Ultra is the stunning titanium shell. Of course, it will cost more than the S25 and S25+, but may be worth it if you feel the S Pen, sleek titanium look, and all the extra features are non-negotiables.

Who will love the S25+ the most?

The S25+ is packed with features that are more than enough for most device enthusiasts—falling right in the middle of the series in terms of size and capabilities. The S25+ features an aluminum shell instead of titanium and—while the display is an impressive 6.7 inches and also has ProScaler—it's still slightly smaller than the S25 Ultra, which may or may not be an issue depending on your personal preferences.

You'll also get a powerful 4,900mAh battery, but it's not quite as powerful as the Ultra's 5,000mAh. The quad camera on the S25+ is impressive by just about anyone's standards, but it’s not as good as the 200MP lens and high-resolution 50MP Ultra-Wide lens offered on the Ultra’s five-camera setup. Also, the S25+ does not come with an S Pen or a titanium shell, so if those are things you absolutely must have, you may want to choose the Ultra. If not, the S25+ is an advanced phone with an impressive array of features.

Who will love the S25 the most?

The S25 is the most entry-level of the series, with a much smaller screen than both the S25+ and S25 Ultra. But it may be the right choice if you want a device that's lighter, easier to handle, and doesn't take up a lot of space in your purse or pocket. If you don't need a lot of extra storage and your phone generally makes it through the day without constant charging, the storage and battery power should be fine.

While the camera is the same as that of the S25+, it's not as impressive as the one on the S25 Ultra. But again—if you're not a serious photographer or influencer, this one will more than suffice. It does not have a titanium shell, ProScaler, or the built-in S Pen. But if you can do without those features, the S25 is still packed with impressive technology—and it's the least pricey of the three.

The breakdown

Below is a quick summary of which Galaxy S25 series phone may be the best fit for your needs. Let’s start with the most budget-friendly option and work our way up to the most advanced models.

Galaxy S25 FE

The S25 FE is a great fit if you:

  • Want premium performance at a lower price.
  • Prefer a slightly larger display (6.7 inches) without stepping up to the S25+.
  • Like the idea of getting Galaxy AI features, a powerful triple camera, and a premium design without the higher price tag.
  • Need a device that balances style, speed, and everyday practicality.
  • Appreciate a durable build with Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus+.
  • Want a mid-range battery (4,900 mAh) that comfortably lasts through a full day.

Galaxy S25

The S25 is a great fit if you:

  • Want to stay on budget.
  • Prefer a lighter phone and smaller display (6.2 inches).
  • Don't care about titanium or the S Pen.
  • Are generally okay with less storage.
  • Usually get through the day without burning through battery power.
  • Enjoy taking pictures but don't need the most advanced camera features.

Galaxy S25 Ultra

The S25 Ultra is a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy the pen-to-paper feeling that only the Ultra's exclusive S Pen can deliver.
  • Prefer to have a titanium shell.
  • Want an ultra-big display (6.9 inches).
  • Need the most powerful, feature-packed camera available.
  • Tend to use a lot of storage and battery power.
  • Have a bigger budget and don't mind paying more for premium features.

Galaxy S25+

The S25+ is a great fit if you:

  • Don't really care about an S Pen or a titanium frame.
  • Are okay with a little less-sophisticated camera capabilities than a professional photographer or influencer would need.
  • Need a display that's a lot larger than the S25, but a little smaller than the S25 Ultra.
  • Prefer a step-up from the entry-level model, but don’t need all the extras that the Ultra offers.

When you're ready to choose your new Samsung phone, be sure to take advantage of the latest deals and offers. Still undecided?
