The City Advantage Saver plan is available for eligible New York City employees who activate NEW lines with
T-Mobile and set up AutoPay with a bank account or debit card. -
The Saver Plan is exclusively for new
T-Mobile lines/accounts. However, existing customers can still benefit through the City Advantage Work Perks Program, which is available for both new and existing lines.If you’re an existing customer interested in switching to the City Advantage Work Perks program, call 1-855-570-9947 to chat with a representative.
Note: Existing customers can open a new account under Saver to add additional voice lines.

If your phone is locked, you’ll have to have it unlocked by the original carrier. In some cases, the phone may have a finance agreement that needs to be paid off before the carrier can unlock it. It may also take a few days to unlock the device.

Yes, it is possible to keep the number you already have from another wireless or landline carrier. First check to see if your existing number is eligible for transfer to
T-Mobile . If your number is eligible proceed to the next question explaining how. In rare circumstances we are unable to transfer a number to our network. This is often because we don’t have a transfer agreement with the original service provider. -
Once you have decided to transfer your number to
T-Mobile you will need the following information prior to completing your Port-In request via your online account. AccountHub Steps Guide:- Phone Number(s) you want to transfer from your current Service Provider
- Current Service Provider Name
- Your current account number
- Billing Address including Zip Code
You will also need to contact your current Service Provider and do the following:
- Request a Porting Pin/Password
- Confirm your device is unlocked and can be ported to another Service Provider
- Request removal of any blocks or requirements on your account so you can port
- Ensure all balances are paid to your current Service Provider

Don’t cancel your current service until your new number is fully activated on your new
T-Mobile account. Failure to do this could cause an interruption in service by either provider. Completing the transfer will automatically cancel the line with your previous carrier. -
Wireless Service transfers should take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours depending on your carrier. Transferring landline service can take anywhere from 3-10 days.
