You can choose whether to receive optional communications from us by email, SMS, and telephone related to new jobs or roles that become available. If you receive a message from us related to new jobs or roles that become available, and no longer wish to receive such messages, you can opt out of these future communications. These choices do not apply to certain informational communications, including communications about an existing application with us.
Targeted advertising
You can get instructions on how to opt-out of targeted ads served by most advertising networks that use cookies, Ad IDs, and similar technology by:
Visiting our Personalized Ads and Offers article.
Visiting our Analytics and Reporting article.
You can also take steps to manage targeted ads through your system settings. Resetting your device’s mobile advertising ID does not opt-out your device from targeted ads, but data associated with your prior mobile advertising ID will not be linked to your new identifier through the device. Also, if you reset your device’s mobile advertising ID your prior opt-out choices will not apply to the new ID. To maintain your opt-out choices, you’ll need to opt-out again. These opt-outs do not impact “contextual” advertisements (e.g., a sporting goods advertisement on a sports-themed website) or ads we place on our own websites and apps based on your activity on those sites and apps.
Browser or platform controls
Cookie controls
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can go to your browser settings to learn how to delete or reject cookies. If you choose to delete or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our website. If you choose to delete cookies, settings, and preferences controlled by those cookies, including advertising preferences, may be deleted and need to be recreated.
Global Privacy Control
Some browsers and browser extensions support the “Global Privacy Control” (GPC) or similar controls that can send a signal to the websites you visit indicating your choice to opt-out from certain types of data processing, including data sales and/or targeted advertising, as specified by applicable law. When we detect such a signal, we make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting or similar control recognized by regulation or otherwise widely acknowledged as a valid opt-out preference signal.
Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that can send a signal to the websites you visit, indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Unlike the GPC described above, there is no common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal; therefore, our websites do not respond to browser DNT signals. Instead, you can use the range of other tools to control data collection and use, including the GPC, cookie controls, and advertising controls described above.
Mobile advertising ID controls
iOS and Android operating systems provide options to limit tracking.
Email web beacons
Most email clients have settings that allow you to prevent the automatic downloading of images, including web beacons, which avoid the automatic connection to the web servers that host those images.
Notice and consent
We provide applicants with a notice about the personal data we collect, how we use personal data, and with whom we disclose personal data.
We get consent from applicants for the collection and use of personal data where such consent is required by applicable law. Failure to provide necessary personal data may disqualify an applicant from employment or restrict participation in certain plans or programs.
Future changes
From time to time, we may update this notice to reflect changes required by law or our privacy practices or procedures. When we make material changes to this notice, we’ll let you know by updating this notice and the date at the top of this page.
