- __Law enforcement and those with legal necessity.__ We access, transfer, disclose, and preserve personal data to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including from law enforcement or other government agencies; to operate and maintain the security of T-Mobile systems, including to prevent or stop an attack on our computer systems or networks; to protect the rights or property of ourselves or others, including enforcing our agreements, terms, and policies; or to act in urgent circumstances such as protecting the health or personal safety of a candidate, employee, NTW, agent, customer, user of T-Mobile services, or member of the public.
- __Other disclosures with your consent.__ We may share personal data with other third parties when we have your consent or direction to do so.
- __Other disclosures without your consent.__ We may share personal data in connection with any legal process, to respond to emergencies, to enforce our agreements, to defend T-Mobile, to collect payment, to comply with laws, to investigate possible illegal activities or a violation of our policies, terms and conditions, and to protect the rights, interest, safety, or property of T-Mobile, you, and others, including to detect and help protect against fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other unauthorized activities.

Please note that some of the internally provided applications and services that we make available to you also include integrations, references, or links to services provided by providers whose privacy practices differ from ours. If you provide personal data via these integrations, references, or links, or allow us to disclose personal data to them, that information is governed by their privacy statements.
## How long we keep data
We retain your personal data for business or tax needs, or legal reasons. For example, we retain personal data in accordance with our recordkeeping and reporting obligations under applicable labor and employment laws and as necessary to administer and carry out the employment relationship and our post-employment obligations. We set our retention periods based on things like the type of personal data, the business purpose for which it was collected, and legal obligations to retain certain kinds of personal data.
## Your choices
We offer employees, job applicants, and NTWs certain choices related to your personal data.
- __Accessing your personnel file.__ No matter where you live, you may request to access your personnel files by emailing
[email protected]__. California residents have additional choices detailed below.
- __Changes.__ To correct or make changes to the personal data we have about you, employees, job applicants, and NTWs have several self-service options. [__Learn how to correct your personal data__](https://www.t-mobile.com/privacy-center/privacy-rights-request/self-serve-personnel.html).
- __Communications preferences.__ You can choose whether to receive optional communications from us by email, SMS, and telephone related to new jobs or roles that become available. If you receive these optional email or SMS messages from us and would like to stop, you can do so by following the directions in that message or by contacting us as described in the [__Contact us__](https://www.t-mobile.com/privacy-center/privacy-notices/employee-contractor-privacy-notice#contact) section below. If you receive a call from us related to new jobs or roles that become available, and no longer wish to receive such calls, you can ask to no longer receive those calls. These choices do not apply to certain informational communications, including communications about an existing application with us.
- __Do not sell or share.__ You may opt out of having your data sold or shared by us, which includes having it used for targeted advertising or for third parties to use for direct marketing, by going to our [__Privacy Dashboard__](https://www.t-mobile.com/privacy-center/dashboard) or using the “Do Not Share or Sell My Personal Information” link on our websites or in our apps. If you've opted in to our Personalized Ads and Offers or Tailored Offers and Ads programs, you may also need to withdraw your consent via the Privacy Dashboard to be removed from those programs. We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal broadcast from certain web browsers as an opt-out request, but we don’t recognize the “do not track” signal because there isn’t a universal standard for how to apply it. Read our [__Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information__](https://www.t-mobile.com/privacy-center/education/do-not-sell.html) article for more information.
