Price increase Magenta 55+ rate was guaranteed
What?! I've been happy with T-Mobile for a few years now, and thought I was with an ethically operated company. I've had no reason to complain. However just today I received a text that in 2 weeks they are increasing my price. But when I signed up I was promised a guaranteed rate of $70 per month for 2 unlimited lines on Magenta for 55+. Now T-Mobile wants $10/month more than the guaranteed rate. Sorry, the price increase and therefore the change in terms is not acceptable. This isn't a great way to treat loyal customers.friendofonyx53 minutes agoRoaming Rookie1.1KViews6likes6CommentsHow do I cancel a line off my account?
I have been trying to cancel a line off my account but can’t find any options online. I tried waiting for chat support but can’t get a human. Tried the callback option but the screen wouldn’t load. It’s almost as if they don’t want me to cancel my line….melissaruddling4 hours agoNetwork Novice1.8KViews0likes2CommentsDeceased Account Holder
My husband passed several months ago. Finally in March, I was ready to move ahead and cancel his line...and I went to the local T Mobile store. While I was there, the T Mobile representative said I should not be paying the bill since it was in my late husbands name and she stopped auto pay. She also submitted the form for a deceased account holder. Apparently from there, that department is supposed to call me - I'm not sure why. But regardless of the reason, they were calling my late husband's number! I didn't know they were trying to reach me. Last Tuesday - a week ago - and 2 months after I initiated cancelling his line!- the account was suspended. I can call no one. So I started a chat with T Mobile. The bottom line seems to be I need to call myself - I am not sure why they can not resolve this via chat. But obviously I can't call. They have tried several times calling me, but when I answer I can hear no one and then I hear a click - all because of the suspension I am sure. I did go into the local store and they tried calling the numbers for me, but when they identified my account, the phone system would not proceed until I paid the full amount due. All I am trying to do is get the charges for my husbands line taken off the bill since March when I was trying to cancel his line as well as the reinstatement fee of $60.00. No one is helping me. Also, was the worker at the T Mobile store back in March right - do I not need to pay the bill?Solvedges5 hours agoVisitor67Views0likes2CommentsT-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
I switched to T-Mobile Internet over 3 months ago. The $200 Pre-paid Mastercard within 10 weeks was an incentive that led to me making this choice. It has been 12 weeks and I have not heard a thing. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am preparing to switch back to my previous provider if this is how they treat customers.15KViews14likes40CommentsT-life and scam shield
Since Tmo moved scam shield into T-life it is not usable. For those of who don't care about T-Life put it back as its own App! OR Stop letting all scam callers come through!! OR Just block Twilio International and Twilio SMS/MMC-SVR! When the app was stand alone you could review and block numbers!! I'd open a ticket but with who!!!stein97005 hours agoNewbie Caller667Views1like3CommentsPhone Repair
I dropped by phone and cracked the screen. I called the insurance number that I was given and they sent me a link through text to complete to have the phone repaired. I completed the process and then was sent a text that a phone would be on its way with a check your status. A few minutes later I get a text to set up an appointment. During the time this is all going on it stated that I had no deductible to pay. At that point I left to head to the store and then they stated that it was to late in the day to work on it. So we scheduled another day. I then received a message that I can check the status of my shipment. At this point I was confused and went to a t-mobile store to talk to them to see what I should do. They stated to wait a few days and see if the phone shows up. Well 2 days go by and no phone and then a text that my appointment had been cancelled. At this point I needed to get a phone. So I go to the store and purchase one and asked them if they knew why the appointment was cancelled and or why I didn't get a replacement phone. They told me to contact the cooperate office. Well that was hard to do with getting know response from anyone. I still have my cracked phone and I want to get it fixed. I have been with Sprint and the T-mobile bought them out but for over 20 years and I have paid for the insurance for just as long. I just want the company to fix my phone with no charge. Can anyone help me or direct me to who can help me.delph6 hours agoVisitor12Views0likes0CommentsAnother Run around by tmobil
Another run around by tmobil. Apple website says only a carrier can unlock your phone. I purchased the phone from t-Mobil in 2019. You are the carrier. Really do people go outside of the company to ourchase a phone when they are with a company? I we have been a tmobil customer since 2016 and we purchased the phone in 3019. You guys are giving me the worst customer service ever. Your records are not available because your records only go back to 2020. Is that the customers fault that you don’t keep accurate records of phone purchase for a reasonable time. 5 years is not sufficient to keep phone purchase records. I take my childrens old phones all the time and I am still using one of outlrbIphone 11’s. Tmobil has zero accountability to customer satisfaction I regards to unlocking my phone. See Apple information below!!! Contact your carrier 1. Only your carrier can unlock your iPhone. Contact them and request an unlock. After you submit the request, it might take a few days to complete. Contact your carrier to check the status of your request. 2. After your carrier confirms that they unlocked your iPhone, follow the steps below. If you need to activate an eSIM from a carrier other than your current carrierTrust1236 hours agoNetwork Novice40Views0likes4CommentsAbuse victims victimized again!
I can't explain the frustration, disgust, disappointment, and the list goes on. We are domestic abuse, financial and sexual abuse survivors. We did exactly what was right and got our own account at tmobile separate from abuser. We have been continued to be victimized even after again doing all the property steps and trying to send documentation and as of 2 days ago 4 different agents mocked and laughed at us. Today I finally get an amazing chat agent that helped as best as possible and here's our issue and zero assistance, resolution or grace... Here we our, Rural Pennsylvania, abuser destroyed vehicle, 2 bank accounts currently frozen for investigation for fdic to return our nearly $11,000, no public transportation, no Uber, no lyft, closet town to find wifi access nearly 40 miles away. Fcc told us to contact tmobile, explain circumstances, as we have pfa with a couple other documentation and can easily have the rest after our scheduled zoom meets with psp, bank, and victims advocate emergency funding. Been stating that well in advance and after gurantee wr had circumstantial 2 weeks of service grace period our accounts again suspended over payment. So the newest fees for shut off shouldn't be on us over being lied to. We have new pfa and a couple other things showing we were physical and financially FAILED. WE HAVE RIGHT TO HAVE SERVICE SINCE WE HAVE PROOF OF ALL ABUSE INCLUDING FINANCIAL AND PFA. Fcc said payment cant suspend our account over this and we we would be granted a couple weeks at least to get finalized by state police after completion of investigation and give bank time to return our money. Our tmobile accounts safe we don't need any line seperationHere we sit in the middle of nowhere, absolutely in a dangerous situation and lose out if we don't attend these legal meetings to get investigation completed. Was send to line separation form, we have already gotten our lines away from abusers account this is ours, we need our services on for our safety and ability to complete investigation so charges can be done and we get our money back to pay off our bill. Well guess what we are being victimized still thanks to the fact that we have 1 bar of service with our service connected, so there goes our money returning as well as abusers charges would be blown off for us not participating. I'm absolutely sick that we legally have the right to this and have our service reinstated for us to take care of our legal obligations. How do you guys have the audacity to tell us "oh sorry, we need that victims survivors form submitted with documentation and in 2 days or more they'll review and rei state service." Oh really is that so, we have been victimized in every way possible, and have all documentation, not only that but you have absolutely no priority in expediting and resolving immediately with proof considering we have been on top of this and transparent and several people failed to really do their jobs!! So then you guys say, it's not our problem you can't send the documentation go find public wifi! No vehicle, no public anything, no Uber or lyft and closet town is 40 miles away on top of frozen banking to get our money back in RURAL PENNSYLVANIA !!! How do you think this is safe or legal to not at least reinstate the data service to get documentation immediately for the phone services to be reinstated after i did my due diligence starting over a week ao prior to line suspension? And you guys know Abuse victims each are under different circumstances and we were also financial abused, we verified with fcc that yes we indeed need accommodated to give us the ability to recover, meet legal obligations and get our bill paid up Absolutely NOTHING sends through on survivors form. It continuously times out because nothing is sending. How do you think it's acceptable to openly hand out 3 month network passes to anyone and everyone yet you can't at least give abuse survivors dat in order to get things submitted and then with our proof turn on the other services?? We have desperately trying to resolve this dangerous situation before it got to this point because our first legal zoom meeting on emergency funding for today!!!! This cant happen, and the courtesy of at least data needs to be a must in any rural areas. We desperately need this resolved immediately to get our legal obligations to getting our money back to pay our bill. We need resolution ASAP and shouldn't have to "go do whatever to travel 40 miles for public wifi after we were responsible proactive adults. This is extreme, and at this point if we don't have resolution and have our service to be safe and take care of legal obligations, we will expedite to tmobile president, social media, bbb, fcc, and the attorney generals office. We also have it legally all documented incase of our abuser ending us prior to getting a resolutionTimothysimmons86 hours agoVisitor23Views0likes0CommentsT-Mobile Home Internet Review
I have been using T-Mobile Home Internet for a couple of months now. I recently upgraded to the 5G Gateway, which has made my WiFi much better Vs. the LTE Gateway which sucked and had a lot of restrictions. The 5G Gateway is sleek, easy to use, and comes included with your Home Internet Plan! My experience has been exemplary, apart from a few issues. I have the following issues with T-Mobile Home Internet: •No UPnP Option which causes issues using XBL. •No Port Forwarding which causes a Moderate NAT on XBL •Some VPN applications do not work. •The Online GUI is limited and watered down. T-Mobile should really fix these issues, as it’s bothering other Customers as well. Overall T-Mobile Home Internet is great for those who don’t play on XBL, PSN, or PC or require a VPN to be used for work or personal use.PinkMagenta8 hours agoRoaming Rookie33KViews5likes31CommentsNewbie
I'm new to the T Mobile community switching over from US Cellular. The reason for switching is because of the rumored US Cellular buyout, and also interested in the upcoming Starlink communication making it possible to have talk/text pretty much anywhere. Although I don't have the connection I had w/US Cellular the T Mobile Gateway is much faster. I wounder if T Mobile has any plans to utilize the US Cellular towers ? I defiantly would help the coverage in my area increasing T Mobile's customer base. Thanks to all that reply!SolvedBill569 hours agoRoaming Rookie181Views0likes7Comments
