Customer service Lied
I'm extremely frustrated with the misinformation I received from T-Mobile's customer service, which cost me $1000.05. Before porting out, I called twice to inquire about potential fees. Each time, representatives gave me conflicting information about eligibility for reimbursement through their phone buyout program. Despite initial assurances, I was ultimately denied assistance and left with a hefty bill from my previous carrier for terminating a 12-month contract. T-Mobile needs to improve training for customer service representatives to ensure they fully understand and clearly explain program details, eligibility, and potential fees to customers before they port out. This would help prevent similar situations and provide better customer service.25Views0likes0CommentsWebex work app won't work with home internet
I work remotely two days a week and we take calls through an app called webex so it doesn't connect to our personal cell phone number, I have tried many things to get it to work without even being connected to the internet and it won't work. I've even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I had read on google that the t mobile home internet has issues with VPN or Voip and won't work due to packet loss and i'm not sure what that means. Has anyone had any issues with a problem like this? and what did you do to make it work. I also believe it is the internet because the app was working just fine before with my other home internet provider. Thanks for the feedback.20Views0likes0CommentsQuest no longer works with T-Mobile Home Internet
I have a Occulus (T-mobile won't allow the use of the M*** name for some reason) Quest 2 that used to work with T-Mobile Home Internet but doesn't any longer. Looking through this forum and other it seems to be related to the Sagemcom Fast 5688W (dark grey) router with firmware 1.102.5c. Telephone support did not have any way to resolve, but did acknowledge a known issue with Wi-Fi clients repeatedly disconnecting from the router, which is exaclty what I'm experiencing with the Quest. They agreed to ship me another of the exact same router but said it would have the same issue because it's a problem with the hardware. I don't know if anyone else has found a better workaround. I've tried a dedicated 2.4Ghz network just for this device, a static IP, and even another router behind the T-mobile one and none of it works.30Views0likes0CommentsMy Q and T-Mobile internet $#!%$
We got the t-mobile internet about a month ago. All our devices are connecting to it EXCEPT the Chamberlain My Q. (Actually, it connected, worked for a couple days, disconnected, connected for a few more days, disconnected, now nothing). After about an hour and 2 phone calls with Chamberlain, when they asked about my router and I told them t-mobile, their response was, "Oh." So, they sent am email with a list of things to check with t-mobile. On with T-mobile for about 30 minutes, the tech couldn't help me, spoke with his supervisor, and came back with, "well, there's nothing we can do. Talk to the manufacturer." I told him that this is not an unknown issue, I am not the first person to have this, nor will I be the last. There are posts going back 4 years and they should know a fix by now! Enough of the finger-pointing! I need a solution! Anyone...anyone???55Views0likes0CommentsCan’t Connect to Government Website

DO NOT SWITCH!!!!
After 20 years with Verizon wireless I moved to T-Mobile. Bait and switch is an understatement i was quoted $118 for a promotion once I agreed and esigned the documents and switched over my 4 lines my bill went to $220 a month because I no longer qualified for the promotion. After several calls mostly international I was told that I should have read the small print and the iphone 12 which were 5 years old needed to be in pristine condition... Both phones were used by my college age sons and both phones were working but far from pristine. When I received the first bill it was double $225 I was told that the bill would be reduced once the promotion kicked in.... Second bill still over $200 this time I was told the phones did not qualify and that they would look for a new promotion to make my bill more reasonable. The T-Mobile manager told me no problem he would take care of it I would need to go to a T-Mobile store and exchange the iPhone 16 for an iphone16e and my bill would be reduced to $156 a month. When we went to the store, they told us that information is incorrect you do not qualify for that promotion but you bill is qualified for a promotion that would make the bill $171. Third bill came in at $225 so I am frustrated and confused and was totally taken advantage of, if you are reading this do not switch stay with VERIZON WIRELESS they are more expensive (slightly) but at least they are honest, and customer service does care about the customer.185Views0likes0CommentsPrice Raise, Shame on You
In this day, when people are trying to afford basic life products, you all decide to raise prices. How sad that this is how you treat people who have been using your services for many, many years. Then you only have TWO plan options, expensive and ridiculously expensive. Bad timing, bad business, shame on you T-Mobile. Hitting them while they're down94Views1like0CommentsExternal IP address - expiration or changes?
I recently stumbled into the TM problem with SMTP sending emails - and having our TM Gateway and it's external IP address being blocked as per the internet Spam databases. Rebooting the TM gets us a different external IP address and all is good for sending SMTP emails again. https://whatismyipaddress.com/ Was wondering if our gateway external IP address expires after X number of days - or how long are we able to hold the same external IP address ?74Views0likes0Comments
