I lost my phone and was hoping to have a new sim card sent to me so I can keep my old phone number. I'm currently on deployment in Poland, I plan on buying a phone here, and was hoping to have the sim card sent to me because I have heard that european tmobile stores wont be able to help me with the sim card here.61KViews1like5CommentsTravel to Colombia
Hello, I am spending one month in Colombia and want to make sure I have the best plan with T-Mobile. I currently have the One Plan. Does the One Plan include Unlimited Calling and Messages to and from my phone while in Colombia without additional fees? Does it provide internet service without additional fees? Do I need to use wifi calling? If not, which plan would be better for me? Thanks!26KViews0likes1CommentUnlimited free calls on 15GB/30 Days International Data Pass and Wi-Fi Calling
I was told by a retail sales rep at a T-Mobile retail store today that unlimited free calls to/from/within Simple Global countries on International Data Pass only works on Wi-Fi Calling and that without Wi-Fi calling the charges for each call is $.25/minute (Magenta plan). This does not seem right as this would mean locals calls made within a Simple Global country would result in an international call originating from the U.S. Instead of being a free call, I believe, this would result in a $3.00/minute call. Do we really need to turn on Wi-Fi Calling while on International Data Pass? I am planning a trip to Japan and don’t want any surprise billing when I return from the trip. Would appreciate any comment from people that have used this service.Solved11KViews0likes20CommentsInternational pass not working.
I purchased a 30 day international pass for my wife’s Iphone 13 for her trip to Romania in January of 2023. I did not accompany her on the trip. She could not get it working during her visit. She had to rely on WIFI connections the entire time. We made sure that roaming was enabled and we also tried #RON# with no success. My sister in law had the same issue in February. She also has an Iphone 13. We all have the Magenta MAX 55+ plan. My wife’s phone and mine have ESIM’s but everything I’ve read says the ESIM shouldn’t make a difference. My wife is planning a return trip in April 2023 and would really like to be assured that T Mobile will work as advertised. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.7.2KViews1like8CommentsTravel to the U.A.E. and Amsterdam
T-mobile community challenged here. I will be traveling and don’t want to get stuck with outrageous fees. Reading blogs and seeing that some folks have to get a new sim card, but if I am reading the T-mobile site correctly I should be good to go? I am on the Magenta plan and T-mobile site says that the network AND my note20 plus is compatible. How do I actually confirm this? Any insights? Thankings!5.9KViews0likes5CommentsI just flew into Israel and got a text saying "Welcome abroad! Your T-Mobile plan gives you unlimited data at up to 2G speeds and texts at no extra cost! Calls at 25 cents/minute"...
I'm sure I'll be charged the 25 cents per minute if I make an outgoing call, but what if someone calls me and I answer it? Will I still be charged or is that free?5.7KViews0likes2CommentsInternational Data Pass not working when re-purchased
I was traveling in Europe in October and purchased an international data pass. It worked well but I ran out of data toward the end of the trip. I purchased another 5 GB (or perhaps 15, I forget). I received all the proper confirmations and was charged but I never received speeds above the 256 kbps. This continued for 5 days, regardless of restarting the phone, having 5G, being in downtown vs. countryside, etc. It was like the pass never got activated. Fast forward to December… Got to Europe again and received a text stating I had 5 GB of FREE high-speed data. Perfect. It worked beautifully. However, when it ran out, I purchased an international pass (5 GB this time). Again, received all proper notifications, restarted phone, etc. and haven’t received speeds over 256 kbps. TL:DR it seems like the first batch of international data with T-mobile works beautifully but then when I purchase/acquire a second pass… it never formally activates on the backend, regardless of what I do. Any ideas? Roaming is on, everything has been restarted, I’ve tried speed tests all over… everywhere from Zurich to Svalbard… it’s clearly not an issue with the device itself as it worked well for Pass #1 on each visit and failed to activate with Pass #2.Solved4.5KViews0likes5Comments
