T-Mobile shuts down my texts and doesn't tell me!
So, this problem has happened to me twice in less than 6 months. If I send out a lot of texts in one day, T-Mobile shuts down my texting and doesn't allow me to even text my wife or daughter on the same calling plan. Their excuse is that they have software that "senses" when spam messages are being sent out. OK, so even if that was the extent of it.... it's really not. As a paying customer of T-Mobile for more than twenty years or so, I feel that of your plan is going to be restricted in any way at all, they should contact you to address this issue. However, they do NOTHING! The first time I experienced this problem I was sending out messages for a birthday party. Next thing you know its 5 days later and I still can't send a text to pretty much anyone, I had to download a texting app to contact my wife without calling her. After all those days with no texts they tell me they discovered the reason and now it'll take at least two more days with no text service. Thats right, customer service has no way to re-instate tour full contact features immediately. But they shut it down fast enough! This just happened again yesterday and its the last straw. I'm tired of being treated like this so Bye Bye! I am getting rid of this service and going to Patriot Mobile. T-Mobile sucks!!
Cannot make or receive calls without TMobile resetting network connection
Is anyone else having this issue? I can receive texts but not phone calls. Yesterday I called in and they reset my network connection and Wah Lah! It worked. This morning, it is back to no calls in or out. Is it time to leave TMobile? I am not buying a new phone just due to this. This one has worked fine for me. My sister did an upgrade just to get support. I am over it!!!!
Advanced Cellular Metrics after area thunderstorms
My internet has been messed up since after major thunderstorms came through the area. I have tried resetting the box and unplugging it for a bit, but when it comes back up, things are still not running as they should. The above listed metrics never looked that way before. Does anybody know what to do?
Fast download speeds but horrible upload speeds?
This hasn't been an issue until just recently, but my T-Mobile 5G Gateway started having issues with upload speeds - reaching as low as 1mbps while download speeds are upwards of 400mbps. How to report (properly) poor/non-existent coverage?
According to the T-mobile coverage maps, we have 5G and Ultra 5G coverage in certain areas. However, there's a few spots where literally the iPhone 15 Pro Max shows SOS (meaning ZERO coverage), let alone 4G, etc. Even "better" is when you do get say, 2 bars of 5G UC, and yet you cannot make any calls, internet, etc (for miles). So how does one go about properly reporting these trouble spots to get a T-mobile tech out to the area to confirm/deny/fix?No T-Mobile coverage at Universal Orlando's new Epic theme park?
I'm a little surprised, to be honest, that there's apparently no coverage for T-Mobile users for Universal Orlando's new Epic theme park (next to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure). Switched from KVD21 to G4SE and cannot VPN for Work via Paloalto
I recently switched from the KVD21 firmware 1.00.24 to G4SE firmware 1.03.20 and no longer can VPN into my work. I have network connectivity on my other devices and they work just fine. I did see that there have been other customers having the same issue on the G4SE and I'm just wondering if there has been a workaround/fix to the VPN issue on the G4SE. I saw things like changing the MTU on the computers, but that seems to not do anything for me. I called support and we changed the WPA settings but that did not work either. Anyone else encountering this trying to work from home?
