WPA 2/WPA3 Mixed mode possible on G4AR?
Yes there is mixed modes available. The default setting should already be in mixed mode.
It should be WPA2/WPA3 with AES encryption. Perhaps it's the AES encryption that is the problem for you.
There is WPA/WPA2 available with TKIP/AES encryption and WPA with AES encryption.
From Home screen select Internet then My WiFi. In the lower part of the screen is your networks.
You can have multiple WiFi networks, I suggest you make one specifically for your tablet using WPA/WPA2. I have 3.
Then there's the question of can your tablet receive both 2.4 and 5 gHz signals. That can be set to one or the other or both.
Hi Dwcraig1,
It looks so easy to do..and quickly revert back if there isnt any benefit or file sharing. I am also looking into trying splitting the various devices ( like smart plugs) that go me a little scared will bog down the router…like thdy jave in the past….into the two networks (hobby and household) and see if that helps!
Thanks,
Paul
