Thanks again, you give me hope. The model number is SM-S918B/DS, which I believe is the global international version and appears to support ESIM.

Thank you for your reply, which if I understand correctly means I must wait until I get back on the T-Mobile network before I can register the old SIM in the new phone, correct? The "new" phone is actually a used S23 Ultra.

Possible to switch SIM to new phone while off network?
My old phone is acting up and I can get a good local deal on a new phone while I am overseas. Is it possible to install my current active SIM in the new phone and have it work before returning to the US? Thank you.
