Re: why so slow???
That makes a lot of sense then. Both phone and gateway having trouble. We had a similar issue with the Tower. Fortunately T-Mobile fixed it within a 2 days. Since it was the only Tower in our subdivision. Calls can be made but data service was practically gone.44Views0likes0CommentsRe: Home Internet for newly constructed homes

Innovative products focused only on maximizing profits not providing the best service at a price point that delights. Since this is a T-Mobile forum I will leave it at that. One last thought, Would you recommend T-Mobile to friends or family? Why is this a bad thing with T-Mobile? If you don’t qualify at the location then you don’t qualify. Why is that a fault of T-Mobile? If there is no management of the location the system will get overwhelmed and everyone will have a terrible experience. I already know of people that cheat the system and overloading the network because of that. Yes I would recommend T-Mobile Home internet if your location supports it and if the speed is acceptable for their use.19Views0likes0CommentsRe: why so slow???

The network receiver hasn’t moved an inch. And I checked to make sure I wasn’t close to any data max. any hypotheses? Without any advanced Metrics provided or even the type of Gateway you have No one can even guess what your problem may be.44Views0likes0CommentsRe: Turn off Wifi?
SamuiDog wrote: I got the HINT app from Google Playstore and now have access to turn off the wifi (although I haven’t tried it yet). I’m pretty disappointed though the T-Mobile has decide to lock down the gateway to this extent and I’m leery of relying on a third party app for such access (not a comment on the app itself it’s just that T-Mobile could do something to break this without warning or the app could become unsupported). I’m going to have to think about whether to keep this service going forward based on these issues. Hopefully someone from T-Mobile reads these comments. TMHI updated the firmware, after I already used HINT to turn off WiFi Radios and hid SSID. Nothing broke, G4AR is now even faster with the update firmware.135Views2likes0CommentsRe: Turn off Wifi?
Robert.M wrote: i watched the video but it seems the HINT app has not been tried with the newest G4AR gateway (with external antenna ports). Not to worry everything seems to be working ok with the gateway wifi still on. Thanks though! I used it on my G4AR. Worked great. WiFi is completely turned off and SSID is also hidden. Gateway runs cooler and less WiFi interference with my Mesh Network system.83Views0likes0CommentsRe: Home Internet Gateway Upgrade
This confuses me. What if your TMHI Gateway is having problems and needs repair or exchange. Are you guys saying that TMHI Customer Support won’t do it? You have to cancel your account and start a new one? They can’t send you to a T-Mobile (real) Store not 3rd party and get it replaced?261Views0likes0CommentsRe: HULU doesn't play well with TMOBILE home internet

I returned the modem and now have Xfinity internet on a promotion. Once that ends, I am in trouble, because I will NOT pay Xfinity regular prices and nothing but T-Mobile is available on my street. So long story short - T MOBILE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH HULU!!!!! That person is wrong. They can absolutely reset your home location so that services like HULU can start working with your T-Mobile Home Internet Service. I have 4 TV and all streaming services only with them. They each can connect to HULU with no issues since the Chat Person rest my home location with the system.49Views0likes0Comments
