poor service/connection

With sprint i had a service plan (luckily) for unlimited highspeed for about 25 bucks, since tmobile my bill is 70 bucks... which is fine i upgraded my phone.... but my data has taken a hit in the knee caps and then the jaw... my 5g if i get it is slow as molasses... my 4g is lucky to go above 2 bars... before with sprint was hitting 5 bars 4g... so what happened? Recently its gotten worse... i cant check my emails half the time and im turning of 5g…

Ive had people over with other companies and they have no trouble but i cant match their speeds to save my life…

I had nextel originally, then sprint got them but never had a problem... but again recently my service has gone to a crawl... is this normal or am i doing something wrong? 

I was looking at getting a Hotspot  but reviews have been horrible... i just need a steady signal...
