N éstor Cano
Executive Vice President, Integration and Transformation, & Strategic Adviser to the CEO
Néstor Cano is the executive vice president, integration and transformation, & strategic advisor to the CEO at T-Mobile. In this role, Néstor is charged with bringing two disruptors—T-Mobile and Sprint—together to build the supercharged Un-carrier, driving toward massive synergies that will have tremendous benefits for customers, employees, and shareholders.
Néstor previously served as chief operating officer at Sprint where he drove expense reductions and strengthened processes to improve the business. He led several areas of the company, including omnichannel operations, information technology, analytics and omnichannel delivery platforms, digital architecture and delivery, customer management, customer experience, leasing, and the product and supply chain. Néstor also led the company’s transformation office.
Prior to joining Sprint, Néstor was president of European operations at Tech Data, one of the world’s largest distributors of IT products and services. He held numerous leadership roles where he re-engineered processes and controls to drive the best-ever profit in the company’s European operations. Before joining Tech Data, Néstor held positions with technology companies in Spain, including Tronik and CCR Informatica.
Néstor studied industrial engineering at Barcelona Polytechnic University, attended the Executive Distribution Academy by INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France, and also completed his post-graduate degree in executive management at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
Néstor is a fan of live music and adventurous vacations, which almost always include kiteboarding. He lives in the Kansas City area and enjoys playing fierce games of pickleball with his family.
