Water in phone
I drop my phone in water retrieved it quickly took cover off dried it off plugged it into charger. Received a message it detected water so I put the phone in rice. Now I can’t plugged the charging cord into the phone??? Why is this?
Check the USB port for any small piece of rice.
Also, you generally shouldn’t plug your phone in right away after that happens. It is better to left it completely dry out first. A air drier helps speed the process up. If your oven can be set below 150 deg or so, you can also try that but be careful.
Don't drop your phone in water. Water is very bad for electronics.
