Re: Phone signal is very weak in my house
My devices that experience poor phone signal quality are Android phones. I do not believe there is any significant source of interference causing reduced signal penetration into my home. One of the SIM cards was replaced at a T-Mobile store last month, and I have also attempted to reset and refresh the network settings multiple times; however, these actions did not resolve the issue. I suspect that the problem is due to weak signal coverage in my area. I would appreciate learning about potential solutions to improve the signal strength. Any solutions for boosting the signal would be appreciated.66Views0likes2CommentsPhone signal is very weak in my house
The T-Mobile phone signal in my home is consistently weak, with the signal indicator frequently displaying 0 or 1 bar. As a result, I often experience difficulties in receiving or making calls at home. Even when connectivity is established, the audio quality tends to be unstable. I am currently exploring solutions to enhance the signal strength within my home. To my knowledge, T-Mobile previously offered free signal boosters for areas with weak coverage; however, this option appears to no longer be available. After conducting research online, I have identified several potential solutions for improving phone signal strength, including CellSpot, Femtocells, and standalone signal boosters. I would like to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each option. Could you recommend the most suitable choice based on your expertise?263Views1like7CommentsServer unreachable
Recently, I’ve been unable to make calls from my Android phone. After dialing a number, the screen displays "Server Unreachable," even though the signal is strong. While I can sometimes make calls after restarting the phone, the issue reoccurs shortly after. I also tried to turn off VoLET calls but it didn't work. How can I resolve this problem? Any replies would be appreciated.244Views0likes6CommentsRe: How to connect my andraoid phone to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi of T-Moblie Gateway?

Even though you lowered the transmission mode of the 2.4GHz band, it is still sharing the same WiFi broadcast name as the 5GHz band. Two separate options: Rename the SSID1 name, so it doesn’t share the same broadcast name as the 5GHz band, or ... Select SSID2, enable it, and name it differently from the 5GHz band. This will create an additional accessible 2.4GHz band. You may have to lower the transmission and/or encryption protocols for SSID2. Dear Tomwil, Is there a simple way to temporarily disable the 5GHz signal without modifying the name of the Wi-Fi network for 2.4GHz, and only keep the 2.4GHz signal? This is because I want to set up a device that only supports 2.4GHz through a mobile phone, but then revert the network back to its original 5GHz/2.4GHz state after the device is set up. Thank you in advance for your kind reply.41Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to connect my andraoid phone to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi of T-Moblie Gateway?
Tonwli, Thank you very much for your patient guidance.
