VPN throttling on Home internet
Is there any VPN throttling on home internet? My internet speed with home internet is really good, but it just shows 1Mbps or less with vpn connected. We tested with a different wifi and the VPN speed is reasonable with other networks. Any guidance on what can be done?
MTU/MSS may be too big, leading to fragmentation trying to compensate.
TMO gobbles up some space in the headers with the forced v6 crud. MTU needs to be 1420 or less (MSS 1380 or less). May need to contact the VPN's support about verifying/tweaking that.
