I just spoke with a Sam’s Club agent. I’m currently a LOOONG time ATT customer (Cingular). Thinking about switching to T mobile and I asked LOTs and LOTs of questions and came into this very issue. They will only extend $5,400 in credit line. I’ve never been late with a payment with ATT and have a 825 credit score. They told me 7 new phones (4 pros and 3 16s) would be about $6,490. They max out at the 5400. So...they said I could pay the difference up front ($1,090) plus taxes on the 7 phones. Then they would still credit me 24 months at $34.58 for each of the phones.
