Is it possible to downgrade if I haven't paid off my phone?

You can always purchase another device to use but you can't trade in a device that isn't fully paid off.
I don't want to downgrade my phone. I wanted to downgrade my plan.
It should be possible to change your plan. Whether that affects your promotion or EIP obligations, you would have to contact Customer Care to find out. You can reach Customer Care by calling 611 from your T-Mobile line or you can also send T-Mobile a DM on either Facebook or Twitter/X.
