I explained to my in-laws, wireless home Internet is like putting a little bag of sugar in a corner, plugging it in and the whole house has wifi.
But, WHAT a stupid little box TMO gives out.
(a bag of sugar may be smarter!)
Shows connected devices that have been unplugged for days, occasionally it shows as offline, when clearly it's not. DHCP leases are totally random, nothing sequential at all.
My last STOCK router from a prior ISP - even many many years ago, I could change the DHCP scope, change the DNS server, set port forwarding. Etc etc...
Adding / purchasing another router is a waste of electricity and desk space.
With current technology, the same features should be built in.
Anyone have any
ideas?
