G4AR Change Wifi Channels 3 networks on same channel
Just got G4AR gateway. Speeds are around 1gB down very happ But big issue need to change my wifi channels numbers as there are two neighbor with networks both on 5ghz channel 36. Does this gateway h...
@Deprocks88, unfortunately, the TM gateway does not support selecting channels. You will need to buy a Wi-Fi router and set it up in bridge mode (let the TM Gateway act as a DHCP server). Then, let your devices connect to your Wi-Fi router. I am using the Eero 6+; others work, too. I think most any wifi router will work. You will need to disable the TM Gateway SSID. All of your devices should only see the new wifi router to connect to the internet. On the wifi router, you can select which channel for each 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

@Deprocks88, no. The TM gateway is a basic “gateway” to provide the user with access to the TM internet backbone. You can use the HINT Control app to turn-off the SSIDs or change the channels.

You are basically correct, however, the Hint Control app only allows channel changes by bandwidth, not SSID. You can change the 2.4 and 5 gHz channels, but all 2.4 SSID's will have the same channel, and all 5 gHz SSID's will be on the same channel.
