received texts delayed 24+ hours

Texts delayed coming in, T-Mobile customer 20+ years, this is a newly constant issue. Is it just time to switch carriers? Reset, on/off, nothing works. Missing timely messages. 24+ hours, or not at all. What's up?

Same here! I just got, what I thought was, an emergency text from a client at 1am asking if we could talk (this was in a group text with his wife too). Of course, I texted back, a couple of times actually, "yes" and "you can call me" and got no response. When I first saw my client's text, it was 20 minutes after it was received, and he wasn't getting back to me, so I thought maybe he went to sleep now, but regardless, I couldn't call there at 1am. Then this morning, at 7:45am, I texted asking if everything was OK, and the wife said I was randomly texting them at 1am. I explained that I was responding to the husband's text, and she screenshot me his text, which he had actually sent at 8am (17 hours earlier) to which they thought I did not reply. This is a terrible glitch! I need to get texts from my clients WHEN THEY SEND THEM, not 17 hours later in the middle of the night.

any update on this issue?  I noticed it earlier this week and then today I woke up to 4 texts all rec’d at 1:32am.  Text from my daughter missed, two texts from employees and one from a good friend.  Good thing nothing was an emergency.

I checked with my daughter and she sent the message @ 11:16pm the night before.

  • Please be sure to restart your devices each week or perhaps every 2 days to recycle them. It's best to do a full power cycle (power on and off). I think people forget to do this. It will give you better coverage.
