No internet since standalone 5g update
Is anyone else having home internet problems since the 5g standalone update? I've contacted customer support twice and was told don't worry in 60 days it will be fine. It's not fine. My speed is average. 30! I can't get my email, can't access my online accounts, can't get my face time telehealth visits. This is maddening. Hi, my name is Sri Gupta. I am a authorized user of my son’s account back in December 24. I happen to be in Costco where AT&T offered me a very good plan for first responders and they accepted my son who is a doctor to be a first responder Being a loyal customer of T-Mobile. I came back home and called T-Mobile to see if they can offer me something .T-Mobile sales team welcomed me and offered me the same deal I think better deal at the cost of $135 per month as a first responder And they told me that your son who is a doctor is fully qualified for this account. My son was in the hospital at that time serving patients . Somehow he managed to come on the phone and answered all the questions that T-Mobile supervisor asked . finally, everything was done and I was very happy with this plan until three months later I received a notice that your son is not a qualified for first responder account. I called T-Mobile number of times but failed to convince them that this is not my mistake. had sales people clarified the requirement of being a first responder I would have never gone with you at the very first place, but it’s not my mistake and I’m very frustrated With the service and the amount of the bill that I have been paying. now I request senior executives to look at this matter seriously and advise me as soon as possible if there is any possibility of retaining me as their customer meanwhile, I am going to contact other carriers and see if they can take over from this point on and help me out Thank you.shrigupta2534 minutes agoVisitor6Views0likes0CommentsGlobalProtect VPN not working with T-Mobile 5G Home Gateway
I just recewived a new 5G Gateway (Model: TMO-G4SE) a couple of days ago. However, looks like it didn't support GlobalProtect VPN (app version: 6.27-1047). Did anyone have the issue and find any solutions? I need that VPN to work remotely. I'm new to the T Mobile community switching over from US Cellular. The reason for switching is because of the rumored US Cellular buyout, and also interested in the upcoming Starlink communication making it possible to have talk/text pretty much anywhere. Although I don't have the connection I had w/US Cellular the T Mobile Gateway is much faster. I wounder if T Mobile has any plans to utilize the US Cellular towers ? I started a new line with a Franklin T10 hotspot. My plan was to use it as a backup internet connection for the house, since I work from home and my ISP is less than stable. I’d like to set up the dual WAN function on the router and just leave the device plugged in to the USB port. The device works great for wifi (mifi) usage, but I cannot get USB tethering to work. I’ve made sure the USB option is enabled in the settings, and I’ve tried plugging it into Windows and Mac laptops, and directly into the router. Hi everyone! I've tried calling customer support but I've been on hold for over an hour already so I'm hoping someone here can help! I downloaded the last update and I've had nothing but issues with my phone ever since! One minor annoyance is that it won't stay connected to my hearing aids and will also go from connecting to my car and back to my hearing aids mid-drive, which can be a bit frustrating to say the least. Aside from that annoying issue, my phone will not stay charged if I have any apps running. I had to drive about an hour away to visit a friend in the hospital today and had the phone plugged in the entire time and it still continued to lose charge. I had two apps open, one for directions and one playing music. On my return drive home the phone flat out died. It was at a full charge when I left and I was gone maybe a total of 6 hours? How is it losing charge while it's plugged in?? I have it plugged in right now and it's been plugged in for the hour I've been holding and I have the quick charge cable and it's only at 27%. Any idea what's causing the battery to not hold it's charge? I'm sure I can figure out the connection issue at some point but if my phone won't stay charged it's not going to matter. Do not switch from another company to this company. They DO NOT cover the existing bill from your company if you owe on your phone. They are taught to lie to you and say they cover up to 800. I started a plan with T mobile only a month ago by the end of march 23 switching from atNt expecting a better line, the next day on march 24th i inquired from customer service via phone about the device iPhone 16, he did business talk to me giving me some scamming information, he told me i am eligible to have their promotion of iphone 15 for free just pay $100 plus the tax of the iphone if i will add another line and upgrade my previous plan so instead of paying $80 for 2 line per month, i have 2 pay $90 and the contract will be 2 years, i asked him multiple times if its really free and i have to pay $100 only plus tax and he said yes.. so i agreed with the contract. The next billing i was billed with $148 dollar due to tax, $25 cause of changing plan the one i upgraded, and $26 for the iphone, when i checked the app it shows i have to pay $26 every month for 24 months??? So i called CS again to have it look as it was recorded call and the next CS i spoke with told me that there are no promotion like that but shes sorry for the wrong info the previous customer service gave me and she can offer me another plan to upgrade so that the phone will be free again and this time the upgraded one i need to pay $130 dollar including auto pay instead of $90 dollar i previously agreed on. I asked to make a complain cause i want to undo the contract as that is not what i agreed on, but the CS told me they cannot do that because its more than 14 days already but its after 14 days the bill was provided? So i want to escalate a complaint but as per them they can make an email of complaint but i cannot follow up on it, so how will i undo the contract that was not i agreed on? It wasn't my mistake you Tmobile offer me this promotion? And you can trace the call we had by that CS cause its recorded right? Now why can’t you help me solve this???
