Gateway Placement Assistant

The Gateway Placement Assistant helps you find an ideal location for your gateway by displaying the direction of the closest tower (this tool only shares the location of the tower, not the signal strength). To launch the Gateway Placement Assistant:

  1. From Home, select More about connection quality.
  2. Select Launch placement assistant.

  • To Share location, location sharing must be enabled from the mobile device settings.
  • If you're unable to Share location, select Enter address to manually enter the desired address.

Manage Wi-Fi

  1. Select the Network tab at the bottom.
  2. Choose the desired network. You change the settings for each network separately.
  3. Enter a new Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) or Password, then select Save.
    • If you change the Wi-Fi Network Name or Password of the Wi-Fi you're currently connected to, you'll need to reconnect to Wi-Fi.
    • To see the Wi-Fi password you currently have entered, select the icon that looks like an eye with a line through it.

Manage schedule

  1. At the bottom of the screen, select Devices. You'll see a list of all devices connected to the gateway.
  2. Choose a device to view or adjust the following settings:
    • Select the Connected / Disabled switch to manually turn a device on or off.
    • Select Manage Schedule and schedule blocks of time to disable a device.
      • Choose the + icon to add a new disabled time period.
      • Choose Schedule Options if you want to clear the schedule, or you can temporarily disable it by selecting STOP FOLLOWING SCHEDULE / FOLLOW SCHEDULE.
      • Once a device is on a schedule, it can't be blocked.
