Re: Unusable Virtual MasterCard
I have this service and it is good. There has been trouble with the towers near my house but that wasn't a T-Mobile issue. However, they seem to have a super hard time doing what I ask with my account. They say my cell # isn't associated to my account because it's a different provider but the system says it is when I call in. I specifically ask them to fix this so IU get the messages on the phone where I can actually read them instead of the router where they can't be read and the guy said they did it, but NOPE.356Views0likes0CommentsRe: T-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
They pissed me off so bad by first letting sit for I think 70 days with no change and then when my service got disconnected for less than a day. When THAT happened THEN they checked it and denied the rebate I called them and told them I wasn't taking that crap. The service was disconnected because I I didn't realize a payment arrangement would cause them to drop auto pay and they did. I called every day for 9 days and asked about it and reminded them there were places to file complaints for deceptive business practices. They finally gave it to me but now it won't work anywhere and is NOT supposed to be the stupid only spend it at T-Mobile card either. They just mean to make everything as hard as they can on folks.1.2KViews1like0CommentsRe: G4SE Admin login
Would you mind sharing? I have been asked by my PC to check my firewall settings and guess what? There is nothing useful at all showing about the router in either the app or on the web. And, I don't want to call tech support or customer service as the have gotten super irritating with their "Anything, anything at all you will need help with in the next 7 days that would cause you to call in to T-Mobile? I was tempted to say, "WAIT! You mean I should be able to see into the future?! I knew that I got screwed in life!" but I decided against it.😂581Views1like0Commentsapp says their messages on the gateway, but the gateway says there are none
*App says THERE ARE!!* So I'm having all sorts of trouble with stuff right now. New customer. The gateway seems to be working fine as a matter of fact it was giving us internet before that it was ever set up or anything with an app. I was explaining the to the lady who helped me set it up but she didn't seem to understand that I was telling her we had already had internet with that box giving us the the T-Mobile ID to connect to before it was ever set up and the first place. However, over the last week or so we've had nothing but trouble even getting it to keep a connection. When you would try to log on it would say connection failure and restarting the box and all the other troubleshooting tips didn't work. Is this common? And also, I don't have phone service through T-Mobile I just have the internet through T-Mobile. However when I log into the T-Life app, it says that I have messages. I've looked at the gateway and it shows none. When I'm in the app there's no way to access the messages it just says that they're there. What messages would this be? And how do I access them if the gateway says I don't have them? Because they would have to be messages from T-Mobile or error messages from the gateway because again I don't have phone service with T-Mobile. Any help would be amazing.Re: The router page in my browser (5G Home Unlimited)
I'd say that's an understatement! But thanks for answering the question. It says online that if you don't have a phone or you can't use the tea Life app that you can manage it from online but I don't see anywhere that you can manage it online without a phone everything I see keeps referring me to an app. Which is fine I have an app but I lost my phone and it almost it took an act of Congress just about to get everything back so I was trying to see if I was going to have to cover myself if for whatever reason my phone was lost or destroyed because I'm really not happy with everything I do being linked to a cell phone. But thank you for the answer all the same. Is there a difference between the T-Mobile home internet and the T Life app?118Views0likes0CommentsThe router page in my browser (5G Home Unlimited)
We got T-Mobile a couple of days ago and I am wondering if maybe this was a bad idea. 1) While I LOVE that a 256MB download happens faster than I can blink, The regular use of the computer is irritating me to death. It just loads for the longest time and nowhere in the house except for 10 ft from the gateway has a good signal. When I logged into the router page to check things, I was absolutely Gob Smacked at how very little USEFUL anything there was there. There is nowhere to see any devices or connection to the device. Also, when trying to set up a printer, I realized there was not only NO WPS PUSHBUTTON but there isn’t a way (that was immediately obvious) to use the PIN option. WHY in the world would companies keep taking away methods for people to use to connect things. And I read that it was possible to manage this internet without a telephone, but I’m going to say that unless you mean just verifying the connection is up and what the device serial number is, then the router page is an absolutely useless step to tell people to go to check when they have problem. And the speeds so far haven’t really been all that mind blowing. And considering I am coming from a download speed of 6MBPs MAX, that should say something. So, why did T-mobile choose to manufacture a Gateway that sucks as far as any way to connect things besides entering a password? And I wasn’t aware that the gateway had an optional antennae if it wasn’t working well but would it help with the wifi signal. Thanks in advance.Solved389Views0likes4Comments
