Need a reliable Android
-New, not refurb, not used, new -Minimum 6.5" screen, -Maximum budget: cell + 6% tax = $500.00 or slightly over -Usage: access email, messaging, calls, some social media usage as a volunteer, calendar access, notes. -Open to trading this Moto 5G 2023 non stylus in for a new working, reliable cell. (18Dec2023, purchased a Moto G5 2023 non stylus, off Amazon. Listed as new. Not refurb, not used, new. Six months of problems. Voicemails come through 12+ hours after they were left. Chunks of messages missing. On a trip in VA, cell constantly wanted to go into Airplane mode, while I was walking in Williamsburg. Some messages won’t go through unless I toggle between WiFi and Data several times. Messages come through a day later. Cell next to me, facing up, never rings, but receive an alert of a VM. Typing message, screen goes blank and back to main screen. All information I was typing, gone. Messages I’ve read, show unread. A.I. and Spellcheck continual problem on my cell, etc. Motorola Technical Support never responded to these problems. Amazon offered partial credit + restocking fee. Neither ideal choices.Then, the phone locked up. For 2 days, couldn’t get into the cell, Factory reset it. Half the cell works, doesn’t recognize my external keybd, can’t view photos via a link from my Sons wedding, 5 step procedure to access remaining / recovered photos on my phone, A.I. assistant pops up, ifpowering off cell, etc.)18Views0likes0CommentsHow do I file a complaint about one of the stores?
I just switched to TM. So far, so good, except for the billing. At the store, the customer rep seemed to have blinders on and not listen to everything I was saying. They seemed to be in their own world and needed a supervisor to help. I showed them their own web-site stating the plan I joined is supposed to come with Apple TV, AAA, and Netflix. None of that was honored. I also told them I was paying by credit card. I’m now finding out the discount per line is only with debit cards. Are the stores supposed to honor the deals that exist on their web-site? Should the rep have halted me when I stated, multiple times, I was using a credit card? Right now, TM is getting only a 3/5 star. Worse, there’s no Feedback or Chat section I’ve been able to find. Its extremely frustrating for a senior to have to deal with such companies. At this point, I am not impressed. I’m sure this will fall on deaf ears as most big companies don’t care about seniors just as the customer rep at the store made me feel, but, I’m at the point with this lying, or so it feels, that I’ll see what happens in a couple months. But, I’m ready to go back to Consumer Cellular where the customer service and reps were amazing.
