Re: T-Mobile router app on PC
Thanks. I have 2.4 and 5 as separate SSIDs. I’m using an Asus router as AP. You lost me on “ spool out IP addresses.” Are there any settings on the TM modem/router I need to change to get it to ‘talk’ to the AP? The AP shows excellent signal strength, but the TV, NAS, thermostat complains there is no internet.51Views0likes0CommentsT-Mobile router app on PC
Couldn’t find these answers by Search. Is there a T-Mobile app of PC that allows me to access router settings? whether there is or I have to use my phone app, I have some questions. Can I change device names? “Device a1 b2” doesn’t help me a lot. Can I give devices a Static Address? Is there a difference between “T-Mobile Internet” and “T Life?”Solved467Views0likes6CommentsT-mobile internet
This has probably been asked a lot, but I can’t find it. I’m toying with the idea of ditching my local ISP and moving to T-mobile home internet. T-mobile is already our cell phone carrier. Here is my concern. I’m getting about 300mbps and voice lags video by ~half a second. 3-4 times an hour, when using fast forward, we will get the dreaded buffering? circle that can last a minute or 2. Annoying. I’ve seen posts here from people getting 70mbps and seem quite happy. Is speed not that important? Can we watch 3 TVs at a time, 1 tablet, and 2 cells and not experience lag?57Views0likes0CommentsIs my phone sleeping
Samsung S21 I have a few notifications I get only when I turn on my phone. Not power on, but hit the button on the right side and get it to light up. Email. Location notifications. 2-3 others. In each case, when I contact support/community, they state my phone likely goes to sleep and only shows notifications when I wake it up (turn it on). I can find no setting for that in my phone settings. How do I get my T-mobile phone to NOT sleep when the phone is black?35Views0likes0CommentsRe: Slow notifications
Followup. I’ve found when I’m home on wifi, I get instant notifications from apps tracking locations and from Ring. When my phone is using T-Mobile plan, notifications are VERY slow - sometimes nonexistent. At times, I’ll be out and get no notifications. As soon as I pull in my driveway and connect to wifi, I can get up to 6 notifications in seconds. Not always, but often. Is this T-mobile or my phone?19Views0likes0CommentsSlow notifications
Hope this is the right place. I’m having trouble with slow notifications on my Samsung S21. That is, . . . Ring Security notifications can take as long as 15 minutes from time on device trigger to the time I get an audible notification on my phone, Ring device hx show the correct time the device is triggered, but the notification is slow. Microsoft Family Safety notifications can take as long as 30 minutes from time a destination is reached to the time I get an aubible notification on my phone, Family safety Notification hx shows the correct time the device is triggered, but the notification is slow. Life360 notifications have the same problem. I’ve emailed Microsoft, Life360, Samsung, Ring. 3 of them note if the app notifications show the correct trigger time, but the audible notification on my phone is delayed, the problem is with my carrier (i.e., T-Mobile). How do I eliminate the delay for audible notifications?114Views0likes1Comment
