sim card
48 TopicsCan old physycial SIM still be used after switch to ESIM ?
Hello, I had a phsycial SIM in my old pixel 4 and bought a pixel 8 a couple months ago. It gave me the option to transfer the SIM as an ESIM to the new pixel 8. I have a prepaid 10 GB plan for $40. Today I recycled some of my old phones and I don’t know if that old physical SIM was still in the phone. So could someone technically use that one to connect to my network or account ? I did wipe all the data from the phone and I think it was off for at least 6 months. I also have the sim swap protection enabled now and that port out option or whatever it is called. I remember when the switch happend the old phone did not have any network connection. Just wondering if I need to do something here for protection.Solved278Views0likes1CommentTrail Camera - Using T-Mobile SIM Card
Has anybody had any luck purchasing a trail camera and setting it up using aT-Mobile SIM Card. T-Mobile has a monthly service starting at 500MB which I purchased, but my trail camera would not work when I installed it. Tech support for the SpyPoint trail cam mentioned that the sim cards on their trail cams are specific to the unit so I’m not able to swapit out. Not sure if anybody’s done this before, it sounds very doable, just looking for some help of which Trail Cam brands will work on the T-Mobile Sim card. thanks463Views0likes0CommentsDissatisfied Customer Feedback - Urgent Attention Required
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I have received from T-Mobile since switching my mobile number from H2O Wireless. I recently ported my number to T-Mobile and purchased an iPhone 15 Pro under a 24-month contract. However, the very next day, I encountered a severe issue where my phone was unable to make or receive calls. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue through both store visits and calls to customer care, my problem remained unresolved. During my visit to a T-Mobile store, I requested assistance to check the SIM card, but unfortunately, the staff did not respond adequately. Instead, I was informed that I would need to purchase a new SIM card at my own expense, which I found unacceptable given the circumstances. It was only after reluctantly paying for a new SIM card that my phone began functioning again. This experience has left me feeling deeply dissatisfied with T-Mobile's service and has prompted me to reconsider my decision to continue using T-Mobile. As a customer working in the IT industry, reliability and efficient customer service are of utmost importance to me, and unfortunately, T-Mobile has failed to meet these expectations. As IT employee I’m working and lost my day with my mobile number not working and lost my payment for this today. Hope you are understand the mobile is how important to IT working professionals. I urge you to address this matter urgently and take necessary steps to improve the quality of service provided to customers. I sincerely hope that my feedback will be taken into consideration and that appropriate measures will be implemented to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.94Views0likes1CommentT-Mobile branded phone won't connect to Excess Telecom SIM. It only works on Wi-fi.
I was given a Cat S62 T-Mobile device and it will not connect to the mobile network. It works with Wi-fi only. I have an ACP SIM card provided by Excess Telecom whom uses the T-Mobile network although T-Mobile app doesn't seem to recognize the phone number. The SIM card works in other devices and the device is reading the SIM but refuses to connect to it. I have configured the APN, reset network settings, and factory reset the device many times to no avail. I have tried several apps to get details on the SIM issue and it says the phone number and that its t-mobile but also says "network name: no connection" and "sim state: disconnected". The card works in every other phone and no other card will work in this device either. The device says "unlocked" in the settings but when I press it, it says "analyzing" and then says to restart to apply the unlock. It does this everytime I press it so I don't know if it is unlocked or not but considering Excess Telecom uses the T-Mobile network it should work anyway. Unless T-Mobile doesn't recognize Excess Telecom for there seems to be no information regarding their affiliation. I know that the previous owner of the device claimed that it didn't always have this issue so it doesn't seem to be an issue involving Cat or Bullitt Mobile for the hardware. I know it isn't Excess Telecom because the SIM works just fine in every other device. Those devices are unlocked though. This one says it is but remains T-Mobile branded. I cannot seem to get any help from T-Mobile because they don't recognize my 10 digit phone number from Excess Telecom as theirs. The default APN settings in every single phone I put this card in says T-Mobile though. And All the SIM apps say T-Mobile too. On the T-Mobile website it says ACP is provided through MetroPCS and Assurance Wireless. Nothing about Excess Telecom using their service. So does anyone know whats up with Excess Telecom and their T-Mobile SIM cards that T-Mobile doesn't recognize? Or does anyone know anything about the Cat S62 device? ??2.5KViews0likes4CommentsCan't Order SIM for Existing Phone Number

Currently overseas in NEPALand will be here for a few months longer. I lost my phone a few hours ago and I’m worried it’s gone for good. I’ve already set the iphone to lost mode, contacted the police and sent them the IMEI number, but I don’t have access to my T-MOBILE account to suspend my sim. I should mention that phone calls to and from my phone won’t even work unless it’s connected to wifi. I need to suspend my SIM card but I can’t even log into my T-Mobile account. Is there anything that can be done? I am using my laptop to write this.Solved21KViews0likes7Comments
