I cannot send an outgoing email from my email client to Gmail. The server times out and disconnects. It only happens if I use T-Mobile's ISP IP address. If I use VPN over T-Mobile's Network and it's associated IP address the outgoing SMTP email works fine to Gmail.1.9KViews0likes7CommentsT-mobile home internet router not working with (some) Matter Smart Home Devices
I bought some Leviton 215P smart plugs and I just cannot get them working on my t-mobile router. I have gone through numerous steps to try and get this working but no luck. I suspect the router is the issue because I got the plugs to pair with my matter controller immediately when I took them to a different home using Optimum and an Arris router. After working with Leviton, they also suspect the router. I have Nest thermostats that use Matter but apparently they use threads and not Wi-fi. Has anyone got Matter over Wi-fi to work on a t-mobile home internet wi-fi network? I did enroll in the Leviton Matter program I have the devices and controller all on the same 2.4GHz network None of Apple TV, Eco Dot or Homeassistant will pair with the Leviton (but they will on the Optimum wi-fi) The Plug will enroll on the network and can be controlled by the Leviton App, its just Matter thats not working.438Views0likes3Commentsaccount disabled

Hi, I have the white G4AR gateway, and I've noticed a strange device that always appears as connected via Ethernet. I'm certain of the number of devices connected both via Ethernet and Wi-Fi, and this device doesn't match any of them. The device is listed as "RDK-B-GW" and shares the same IP address as the G4AR, but it has a different MAC address from the gateway. This unknown device shows up under the “Connected Devices” list when I use the T Life app (which was recommended as a replacement for the T-Mobile Internet app). However, it does not appear in the “Your Devices” list when I log in through the T-Mobile Internet app. I've searched online for information, but all I find are numerous T-Mobile ads without anything specific about this device or its possible connection to the G4AR. Does anyone know what this device is and how I can remove it? Is it possibly an internal or "ghost" device within the G4AR that’s incorrectly displayed as a separate entity with a different MAC address? The manual doesn't mention anything about this either. Thanks in advance for any help!Solved3.6KViews3likes16Comments
