The third-party HINT Control app (available for iOS and Android) shows which frequency band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) the clients are using. It does not show which SSID they are using.
HINT Control can do a few other things that the official apps can’t do. It can adjust power of either radio (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). It can turn off either (or both if you have a router hard-wired to the gateway). It will allow you to select a Channel and/or Bandwidth for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
