Cancel trade-in and keep new phone
I upgraded to an iPhone 16 and setup to trade in my iPhone 13, but after finding out Apple won't be doing any security updates on older devices, I started considering keeping the 13 for my son. Is it possible to just cancel the trade in and just pay the higher monthly installments on my new phone?cmurray817 days agoNetwork Novice72Views0likes1CommentMissing trade in credit/ unethical sales practices
On September 12 we went to Tmobile 2975 SW 160th Ave, Miramar, FL 33027 and spoke with Andrew allegedly a supervisor or manager. We were looking to port a line but asked if we needed to come the next day to preorder the iphone. Andrew said that it was not necessary as promos for new lines apply for up to two weeks after the new line is done. We go back to the store the next day to get the new line $830 off bill credit with the trade in of an iphone 13 pro. Another associate said to come back when Andrew was there because allegedly it did not apply to us. After calling customer service over the phone they said we were eligible. We went back in September 18 and Andrew was there. Andrew said we definitely qualified but the store was closing so someone called and finished the transaction over the phone. To my surprise I started getting messages about a new line a 754 number I did not have. I never received a trade-in shipping label so I called. Upon further review they added a line without my consent and applied the promo to that line instead. James via chat (I have screenshots) said he could cancel the line and apply the trade-in promotion to the already added new line and sent me a shipping label. And I thought everything was fine but nope I never received a credit and tmobile kept my old phone as well. I have called multiple times one of those times I spoke with Ron employee number allegedly 62030643 and have never gotten a resolution. Now Aris employee 8032354 wants me to add a new line to allegedly get 1000 dollars off but I will have to pay $25 for a new line that I don’t need. And still I will be paying more than the promised $35 off a month I should be getting. All of this happened due to the misinformation and greed of the associates. They say yes to everything but in reality they do not care what ends up happening. Any help is appreciated.SolvedPhoneperson17 days agoNewbie Caller129Views0likes1CommentPurchased this morning - Need help regarding - Prepaid card validity

For the record, I hate smart phones. They are useful for two purposes - taking pictures - I'm an engineer very useful, etc and - wait for it - taking 95% spam calls and a few real calls. Yeah, I wonder why I have the dang thing. So years ago, we signed up with Sprint, the wife wanted new phones, they had a great deal, etc. Best monthly rate was for the business plan. The Sprint to t-mobile transition was been an epic disaster. i'm locked in some sort of limbo, I pay the bill, but my wife owns the account, no one can fix it. Anyway... My iPhone 11XR (old I know) is insane. It loses contacts, is dysfunctional, etc. I walk into the store to discuss a new phone. Clerk: "We'll give you a $100 trade in on your XR, and your new iPhone 16 <anything> will be around 1k." Me: "f**** that." As I'm walking out the door, there is a big sign that says come to t-mobile. We'll give you up to 4 iPhone 16 Pros for free new lines only. What about your loyal customers tmobile?charlieg21 days agoNetwork Novice106Views0likes0CommentsDissaponted
We did a trade in to get a new phone. Iphone 12 pro max. Perfect condition for the new iPhone 16.Then t mobile received the phone and they said it's damaged. They send us pictures of the damaged phone. It looks like someone drove over the phone with a car. And of course now we won't get the credit towards the new Iphone. Now we have to file a claim with ups and we all know how that goes. So dissaponted with mobile. We've been a customer for over 20 years. What a shame.mb197028 days agoNewbie Caller124Views0likes1CommentNo confirmation email. It's been 3 days

Hi, I'm trying to trade in a OnePlus 8 5G for a Pixel 9 phone. When I get to the step to input the IMEI I get the following message "The IMEI number is not recognized. Please try again" I am unable to go any further with the trade in. Thanks!KeithB2 months agoNewbie Caller492Views1like5CommentsChange Plan to Go5G then upgrade?
