Yes, connecting your Linksys EA7500 to the TMHI gateway is a common solution—just set it up in bridge or access point mode. This lets you keep IPv4 support and better compatibility for legacy devices. Disadvantage: double NAT or extra configuration might be needed depending on your setup.
