IP Address and Geolocation - Shanghai, China
Periodically, I get an IP address in the range of 172.59.72.X, and this seems to get geolocated to Shanghai, China.
When this happens, my work’s conditional access policy will block my login. Additionally, I noticed some parts of Windows, such as the weather and news flyout, will be in Chinese when this happens.
My work’s IT department says the geolocation data isn’t their issue to resolve, so I thought I would post it here.
for what its worth the site here is primarily peer to peer assistance..for anything that might need to be accessed through your account you will need to contact TMO through either calling in (tier 1 support) or through one of their social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter (tier 2 support)
Factory reset the gateway.
