How can I change my email address on MyTMobile
Just log into my T-Mobile and go to your profile and you can change your information such as your email name address other things.
Can someone be more clear in their answer?

Before you used to be able to substitute your phone number with your name @tmomail.net. Can you still do that instead of using your phone number?
You should be able to change it in your profile.
