T mobile app fingerprint login trouble
The phone is a moto 5 g5 2022. For the last 13 months, since new, the app has let me login with my fingerprint, but last week it wouldn't give me the option. I logged in with a password and found the fingerprint toggle was off, with no change by me. When I slide it back on, it stays on for about 1 second and then turns itself off again. It won’t stay on. So I called tech support and they had me do the usual things and then transferred me to a level 2 tech guy and we tried more things, but still the same problem exists. I can’t uninstall and reinstall the app because there is no option for that. He had no solution in the end, and sort of blamed it on Motorola,so I thought someone here may have dealt with this issue and found a fix. The fingerprint works fine with my other apps, banking, PayPal, and the lock screen, etc. It’s just thet mobile app that is having the problem. Thanks for reading.243Views0likes2CommentsRe: Online bill pay issue
I’ve been paying via my banks bill pay service, it sends it electronically, and for the last 1 year I’ve been a customer it always processes quickly. I don’t get a $5.00 dollar discount, but it’s worth not giving up any bank details. I paid Verizon the same way. Maybe another option for paying your bill.35Views1like0CommentsRe: Data Roaming while still at home?
My phone was showing “roaming” today, also. I checked and sure enough I was connected to AT&T towers. I called 611 and spoke with Valerie (North American support by the way) and she said they were aware of a problem and were working on it. She also toldmeT-mobile doesn't charge for domestic roaming, that was my main concern since I was at home and not roaming and didn’t want to be charged extra. 1 year later since I ported out of Verizon, and I’m still pleased as punch with T-mobile.21Views0likes0CommentsRe: Tried becoming a customer
I also tried moving from Verizon via the phone. I didn’t want to get stuck in limbo trying to port my number and wasn’t feeling confident I could accomplish it over the phone, so I bailed and went into a store. A really sharp young lady switched me over, ported my number, and I walked out about 30 minutes later with a newphone, same number, and a much better plan at a substantial cost savings from my monthly bill atVerizon. I suggest going into a T-Mobile store to see if you can get it resolved.29Views0likes0CommentsRe: what's up with T-mobile removing autopay discount for credit cards?
T-mobile is still the best deal going for a full featured mobile phone company, with included taxes and all the other perks they offer, not to mention the plan itself is such a better value than Verizon or AT&T. I have never given up my banking details to any company, but I forgo the $5 dollardiscount and just pay manually from my bill pay app each month when T-mobile texts me that it’s due It goes to them electronically and is easy as pie to do, with more security than giving up your banking details.18Views0likes0CommentsRe: After almost eleven years I am leaving T Mobile for good...
I had my mother with Lively, formally Great Call. They were very responsive and helpful. They piggy backon Verizon towers and it was pretty inexpensive, the only problem is these small carriers seem to always get gobbled up by the big guys eventually, just like Mint Mobile is currently being purchased by T-mobile, if it passes the FCC muster.24Views0likes0CommentsRe: Anyone else have horrible in store experiences?
No, just the opposite, I wanted to switch carriers from Verizon to T-Mobile last March of this year. I was a 20 year plus customer of Verizon and I was not sure how to port my number and I wanted a new phone to boot with no activation fee. So I went into a T-Mobile store picked at random, closest to me, and 30 minutes later I walked out with a new phone working better than my Verizon phone and an $18.00 / month cheaper plan withunlimited everything, plus hotspot data. 8 months later I’m still very happy with the plan and connectivity. I guess I was fortunate to work with a very competent and honest younglady that switched me over and waived the activation fee. I’ve found if you say you won’t pay the activationthey will waive it to get a good credit account on the books. I hope you can get it sorted soon. IMO, for value, Verizon is the worst of the big three carriers. YMMV.18Views2likes0Comments
