Good Signal/ Display says weak
I have 4 TVs connected to my new internet, and 2 phones but could be up to 5 phones and 6 tablets as well as TV. So far it's running my devices but on the router it says weak to good signal. Never very good or Excellent.. can anyone tell me why?
@Helzer1986 the signal strength meter (bar graph) on the front of the gateway is an approximate indicator of signal strength. Unless your gateway is parked within a mile of a tower or you attached an external antenna to your gateway, your signal strength of medium is probably good. The important metrics are upload/download speeds. You can have a good to excellent signal and still get +/- 75 Mbps download speeds, which is good.
