being charged for an international which didn't get answered
Hi, does anyone know if T-Mobile charges for international call attempts, meaning the call was not answered?

If you are in the US and call an international number (not Mexico or Canada), the time that it is ringing and if the call goes to voicemail could be charged as an international call. If you leave a voicemail, you are definitely charged because you are connected and talking, so you should probably keep that message short and sweet.

Similarly,
- If you’re in the US, calling and international number, and it picks up, you ‘can’ get charged for international calling (eg. US calling India)
- If you’re in India, and your phone registered to a tower in India, you will get charged for international roaming call
- If you’re overseas, in India, and make a call, you’ll get charged for international calling and roaming
- If you’re in the US and someone overseas calls you .. no problem.
