Access admin on gateway G4SE
I got service a couple days ago. When I type the IP address on the back of the unit, it doesn't ask for the admin password as written on gateway itself, it just logs me in right away to a simple web ...
I should probably have added that I'm using the 5688W gateway, which is the current entry-level offering from T-Mobile.
I did talk to someone in tech support about my wanting admin access, and none of their three options allow that, so I'm guessing that the user access is the same on all models.
The reply from nc1037 is correct with respect to the few things which you can change.
I guess I was so used to the AT&T router with access to everything. It's too bad it's not like that, at least on an ethernet connected desktop PC. T-Mobile, if you see this at least make that possible.
