Re: Change WiFi (not admin) password on gateway
I don't think the T-Life app lets you change a password for the WiFi. I ended up creating a new network with my own password and then deleted the default WiFi n/w that came with the box. Some older threads refer to a T-Mobile internet app. While I can find this app in Google Play Store and am able to install it, it requires some other "hub" app which doesn't seem to be available anymore595Views0likes1CommentWorking with Cisco Meraki
I switched ISP to T-Mobile and now I can't seem to connect to the company n/w via my CISCO Meraki Z3C. My T-Mobile gateway is Sagemcom Fast 5688W I have taken my Meraki box to a friend's house who uses a different ISP and works fine. My company's IT Support says they can "see" my Meraki from their end. But my PC won't connect to my company n/w. Also the Meraki creates a wifi n/w (same as the one inside my company building) which shows up on my PC's available Wireless network list but I can't connect to that either. Any thoughts? My company IT support said "This is the known issue with T-Mobile and At&T Air. AT&T air is using WPA3 security which doesn't support Meraki. But, we found a button on AT&T Air modem to force it to WPA2 and it worked after." He wanted to see if I could change the setting on the T-Mobile gateway to WPA2- Can someone help me try to change it? Btw, my company also supports connecting via Cisco AnyConnect VPN and fortunately that I am able to do Thanks101Views0likes1CommentChange WiFi (not admin) password on gateway
Hi Recently switched to T-Mobile home 5g. I am pretty sure my box model is Sagemcom Fast 5688W. The interface on my PC Browser 192.168.12.1 is very basic and so I installed the app, T-Life, on my phone. I am trying to change the WiFi password but there is only an option to change the admin password. I called the support desk and spent an hour on the phone but she kept telling me to change the admin password- there was a language barrier I guess, couldn't make her understand what I wanted. I see an option to share the WiFi password but none to change it. Also, I see an option to create a new WiFi network- so is that what I do? create a new n/w with a new pwd and then disable the default one? TIASolved578Views0likes6Comments
