How do i set up guest access using http://192.168.12.1 from t-Mobile. It does not work.
T-Mobile sent this http://192.168.12.1 for me to set up guest access on my gateway
That page simply tells me that my gate wayis working.
I am using a laptop to do this.
Does anyone have a solution?
There is nothing you can do with the gateway from the browser.
You can give guest access to your network with the T Life app. I have not tried it, but here is how to find it in the app:
Connect (at bottom) > Things (at top) > Tap your gateway > under Internet Options, tap Guest Wi-Fi access. This displays a scannable code that your guest would scan with their phone or tablet.
If you want to give guest access to someone with a laptop, you could add a second network with its own password. Delete the network or change the password after they no longer need access.
