How to in lock my phone
You need to be a customer of Tmobile USA and meet the requirements in the link below. If you aren't a customer they can't help.

unfortunately you more than likely purchased a locked to TMO phone or one that was jailbroken. soon as it received an update it force locked it..unfortunately it now must meet the criteria TMO has in place before it can be unlocked..you said you used it for a year but where? here in the states? on TMOs network?
