Overseas Travel: How can I avoid incoming call costs but still use free text/data roaming while abroad?
We're planning to travel to Europe later this year and would like to take advantage of T-Mobile's free international text/data roaming. However, I saw that incoming calls are charged at one minute even if you don't answer; per T-Mobile's website: "If your phone is on when you get an incoming call, even if you do not answer it, the call is charged one minute for delivery to the phone. (There are no charges if your phone is turned off.)" I get multiple robocalls/telemarketer calls per week, and I don't want to rack up charges for unwanted calls. Is there any way to temporarily turn off incoming calls or route them directly to voicemail to avoid charges? If so, what are the steps to do that?Solvedescriteur44 minutes agoRoaming Rookie41KViews2likes51CommentsGlobalProtect VPN not working with T-Mobile 5G Home Gateway
I just recewived a new 5G Gateway (Model: TMO-G4SE) a couple of days ago. However, looks like it didn't support GlobalProtect VPN (app version: 6.27-1047). Did anyone have the issue and find any solutions? I need that VPN to work remotely. If the issue couldn't be resolved, it would be a deal breaker for sure.yw202546 minutes agoNewbie Caller336Views1like5CommentsIllegal Business Practices
Do not switch from another company to this company. They DO NOT cover the existing bill from your company if you owe on your phone. They are taught to lie to you and say they cover up to 800. They will only reimburse you!!! Which means you will pay for 2 bills every month.Coolwm3 hours agoNetwork Novice119Views0likes4CommentsGrandfathered plan changes
Just when you thought it couldn't get worse after the autopay fiasco now Tmobile is going to force customers off their grandfathered plans. https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/t-mobile-is-forcibly-moving-those-on-older-plans-to-some-of-its-newer-ones-in-november/gramps283 hours agoRouter Royalty11KViews1like8CommentsRCS chats disabled by carrier
What the heck?!? My chats were working just fine until a couple of weeks ago. I don't get it. My S23 is up to date. I've cleared the messages cache, turned RCS off and on, turned airplane mode on and off. Am I missing something or what? Because I'm getting madMickey136 hours agoNewbie Caller1.2KViews1like6CommentsT-Mobile dishonest billing
I was a customer of T-Mobile’s five years ago and I quit them because I changed my plan and they kept billing me the higher price. I had to go with T-Mobile this time because I had a medical device. It was only supported by T-Mobile. Three months ago I closed that medical device number so now I only have two lines and home service. The following month I was billed correctly, which I believe they do this because so many people don’t even check. Last month they build me the higher amount again. I called. They said no no you didn’t close a number you had a $50 credit. I said no I did not look at my line it’s never been used. It was a long phone call. I did not get my money back. They gave me all kinds of credits and promise me everything was taken care of. When I got off the phone with them, I googled any complaints against T-Mobile and lo and behold, hundreds of people complaining about the very same issue overcharging changing prices charging fees that aren’t even legal. Then today they did the exact same thing and took out the whole amount for two lines. Now the Customer Service reps are in on this because customers are complaining left and right my Customer Service rep said she had never heard of such a thing. I said I don’t believe you for one second. Said you have class action suits against you for this very thing. Then she said well your plan was not changed. We’re billing the correct amount. I said no I don’t have two lines. I have one line and she said that’s the problem and I said so are you blaming me because your Customer Service rep didn’t do their job not once but twice and here I am talking to you trying to blame me again.. I said I want my account close and I want it close now. She said I’ll take care of that and I will send you an email with your account number so I can transfer the number.. needless to say I did not get that email. I went into a T-Mobile store and the clerk said I’m on your side. I get these complaints all the time. T-Mobile is taking money illegally and then not returning that money but giving you a credit. By me closing the account, they have to send me the $50 credit. I will never do business with T-Mobile again. Neither should you.Shefishes26 hours agoNewbie Caller17Views0likes0CommentsPhone signal is very weak in my house
The T-Mobile phone signal in my home is consistently weak, with the signal indicator frequently displaying 0 or 1 bar. As a result, I often experience difficulties in receiving or making calls at home. Even when connectivity is established, the audio quality tends to be unstable. I am currently exploring solutions to enhance the signal strength within my home. To my knowledge, T-Mobile previously offered free signal boosters for areas with weak coverage; however, this option appears to no longer be available. After conducting research online, I have identified several potential solutions for improving phone signal strength, including CellSpot, Femtocells, and standalone signal boosters. I would like to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each option. Could you recommend the most suitable choice based on your expertise?ziliwang6 hours agoNewbie Caller14Views0likes1CommentRequest for iPhone 12 Pro Max SIM Unlock – T-Mobile USA
