When entering the States
Hi guys, I am from Slovakia and I am going to visit the States for my Exchange Visitor Program. I am planning to enter the States on 04/01/2023 and I want to activate eSIM (Magenta program) on my iPhone 13 immediately when I arrive at the airport. When I begin checkout for eSIM I need to fill in the personal information as the phone number. It is impossible to put there my Slovak number, can someone help me with this problem? Thanks, Marek.
The only other thing I can think of is to port your current number to Google voice when you activate your plan if it's possible. The Google voice number will use your Tmobile plan for calls and text.
I have my current number and move to a different state and got a Google voice number with the local area code.
You need an unlocked dual sim phone, one for your current number and one for the new Tmobile number. You can ask your current carrier for rates if you're going to have friends call you on your current number.
