Internet outage accross the whole state of Florida

I did. It was a bit after midnight- no phone service or Internet. Between 2 - 3 am I heard a beep from my Alexa, checked, and it was back on. From what I could find out online this morning the outage affected the state and there was chatter about it on Reddit. Is there a way to find out why it happened?
