I want Starlink, so... Moto G Power 2024?
The Pixel 9 series are decent. My first ever in the Pixel line, is my Pixel 9 Pro XL. If you sign up to tbe beta and get in. There might be a $5 off each month early adopter discount for the Starlink service if you decide to keep it unless your plan already has it included, like on the Go5G Next as an example.
Band 26 is fairly important when connecting to Starlink. Most newer devices do have that. Because it's a satellite service, it will more than likely stay on that band until the FCC and other reglatory agencies decide there is a better option. In 20 years from now, I wouldn't be surprised if satellite is the majority of the network connectivity for cellular networks. Earth's inner orbits are going to look like a recycling dump with all of those cubeSAT's up there. :p
Thanks syaoran for some great information about the device specs that are important for connecting to the new satellite program that is now in beta!
We have some more great details about the T-Mobile Starlink partnership including how it works and an FAQ at the bottom with a list of compatible phones. Check it out: T-Mobile Starlink Satellite Phone Service: A New Era in Connectivity
Looks like the Motorola 2024 series phones are on there (including razr, razr+, edge and g series)!!! What a win?! From the conversation, it doesn't sound like many here have tried the Motorola. mr_l84 If you are a fan of those phones, maybe you could try it out and then report back on the community about how it went. We'd love to hear all about your experience.
The conversation has gotten a bit off topic, so I'm closing the comments here. I'm so glad we got some answers, and I hope it helps!
