What features am I missing by using a non-smart phone?
So the other day I sent in my Pixel 4a to get the battery replaced (probably should have saved my money for a new phone, I know). But anyhow, while I'm waiting for the repair, I've been using my ZTE Cymbal Z-320, not-Android, no app store, flip phone. But as soon as I stuck the SIM card in there and fired it up, I got a message from T-Mobile that I would be able to get their services on this phone. Now, I'm wondering if they're talking about data. But on the other hand, maybe on-device voice mail. However, the voice mail hasn't worked for months, if not years on my Pixel. I can dial in, but the Pixel couldn't connect to download new voicemails on the device itself. So I'm just guessing what other services I'm supposed to have that I'm supposedly missing out on by using an old flip phone. One thing I love is I turned it on on a Thursday and didn't need to charge the thing until Monday. I never hardly use the Pixel for anything other than phone calls, but it was getting very bad, going from 100% to about 20% in 8 or 10 hours without even using it.30Views0likes0Comments"Manage add-ons" hasn't been working for at least a couple of weeks.
When I go to “manage add-ons” on the my.t-mobile.com website I keep getting an error saying: Looks like we got our wires crossed. We weren’t able to process your request at this time. Please try again later. Any ideas when this will start working again? I guess I need to call to make a change to our data limits.143Views0likes1CommentRe: I've been thinking of migrating to Tello after 22 years with T-Mobile... ☹️

I was thinking they were $50 per month and up for some reason. So thanks! So it looks like $10 for 1000 minutes. That’s not bad, as I only talk some 250 minutes max per month. If I want to add Canada and Mexico it’s only $5 more, and I don’t think we’d need to do that to every line. Thanks again!135Views0likes0CommentsRe: I've been thinking of migrating to Tello after 22 years with T-Mobile... ☹️
The more I think about this the more I want to change. I started with T-Mobile prepaid as my first phone because they were affordable. Somehow I’ve worked my way up to a postpaid account that’s well over $100 per month. I’d like to go back to that $10 a month life style again. And hey! It’s not 10 cents a minute anymore like it used to be. The past 20 some years have been fun T-Mobile. But times are getting tough, and I’m not getting any younger.176Views0likes0CommentsRe: T-life not working on your (older) phone?

This coming Spring they will offer free MLB. Down load the app and it will become clear. Ken Thanks! I went ahead and downloaded the app. So far I see a free sandwich at Wendy’s and something about internet and some Samsung ads. It might be helpful when we go down to the big city where there are fastfood restaurants, but apparently I need some sort of Wendy’s app too. Anyhow, this is interesting. I can’t believe I had never heard of this app. I’ve only been with T-Mobile for over 20 years, since before smartphone apps even existed.63Views0likes0Comments
