Gateway internet and phone internet issue

I've been having issues for about 3 weeks. I've used 39 Gb of gateway data and I have a 300 Gb plan. I can't watch any video. My smartphone, Samsung S23 and my other line have both been so incredibly slow. I've been really satisfied with T-Mobile for the last 2 1/2 years. When I talk to someone they tell me a 5 g tower antenna is being updated. Yet I'm still having to pay for data I can't use. Something has changed drastically. I may have to switch providers. Upstate S. C. here. Anyone else having issues like this?

    Regarding the gateway speed, sounds so similar to this thread:

    But, if your phones are also slow (assuming they are using their own carrier signal and not wifi), then it may be a problem with the cell tower.

     

    You may get better results with your phones, if you turn 5G off and use only 4G LTE.  But you can’t turn off 5G on your gateway.
