OnePlus Nord200 5G won't connect to Android Auto
My newly purchased N200 5G will not connect to my car’s Android Auto when I plug in a cable. The [phone buzzes like it wants to connect, but nothing happens. I don’t have access to Maps or audio control. Has anyone figured out how to solve this problem?
It is great that the overall location setting is on, but there is another level to location. Each app has its own permission for using your location. Maybe you want Google Maps to have your location, but you don’t want your social media to see it. You have the power to decide which app can and cannot see you.
From What you show of your car’s screen, it looks like Android Auto is connected, you just have to change that location permission and you should be good to go.
Go to Settings > Location > App access to location > Maps and make sure it is selected to Allow all the time or Allow only when using the app.

Have you tried using Bluetooth?

I have a OnePlus N300 5G and android auto does not work. I’ve called tech support for over 6 months with no help. Called TMobile and they told me today that yes they sell the phone but can’t guarantee that the android auto app will work,,, TMobile sells a phone knowing the android auto app does not work. I’ve tried 9 different cords,,, I’ve tried friends android cell phones/ Apple phones and Android/Apple Auto works on my car. T-Mobile knows the OnePlus phones they sell will not support android auto,,, complaints are all over their T-Mobile support web page. Do not use T-Mobile, do not buy a OnePlus Nord cell phone. I am switching carriers,,,
BTW,,, TMobile tech support is a misnomer,,, they are not technical at all.

You should bring up your complaint with OnePlus/OPPO. Their Dev team are the ones that need to fix it.

Yes. Bluetooth allows me to connect to my music and make calls (sometimes) but I don’t have access to Maps or any of the other Android Auto options.

I'm having the exact same issue. Any resolution?

I’m following. I got the phone a month or so ago, and it used to work. then I started getting a message to try another cable. (Originally, i had an Anker cable. I’ve tried several very short cables, but I still can’t connect.) I tried to unpair everything and re-connect, and after doing that it doesn’t even recognize that Android Auto is connected.

Does the cable you are using support data and charging or is it just a bargain charging cable? Have you tried the cable that came with your device?

I used Anker cable. I can't use original cable because my car has usb c connector

Purchase a cable that will work with your car that is for charging and data, not just charging to see if that works or pick up an adapter for the cable that came with your device to try that cable.
